Now, I will say about six months ago if you told me I would be binge watching "The Office," I probably would have laughed and said "Yeah Right!" but here I am browsing Netflix only to always click on the picture of Michael staring angrily at his desk rather than clicking on "Family Guy" or "American Dad" like I used to.
I am giving a warning, I can't promise there will not be spoilers in this article. I apologize in advanced. But if you are not that far from "The Office," haven't watched it and plan to, or just plain don't want the show spoiled for you for whatever reason...PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION. Thank you!
Now we all know the couples that everyone always says are goals. But let's be real here, Jim and Pam from "The Office" are GOALS. No questions asked. We all want a guy who looks at us the way Jim looks at Pam from his desk. Some of us may have that, while the rest of us await the day we look up and see our Jim right there.
Now there are many reasons why I say they are goals. But here are my top 5 reasons that probably can't be argued with as to why Jim and Pam are the ideal couple goals that we all dream of. WARNING; I can't promise there will not be spoilers. So please proceed with caution.
1. The way Jim and Pam met.
Now anyone who watches "The Office" knows Jim and Pam were not always a thing. Sorry if you consider that a spoiler, but it's true. When you first watch the show they are just "best friends" and Pam is engaged to a man who works in the warehouse below Dunder Mifflin. He isn't someone anyone who watches the show really cares for, cause he is making it hard for Jim and Pam to be together. Now Jim developed feelings for Pam when she first got hired as the receptionist. Jim has always cracked jokes and trolled Dwight with the help of Pam just to get her to smile. That, my friends, is romantic.
2. The way Jim looks at Pam.
Now let's be real, everyone has seen pictures or memes of Jim and Pam and the way he looks at her is just full of love and admiration. Gents who may be reading, if you do not look at your lady the way Jim looks at Pam then you are doing something wrong. Jim cares greatly about Pam and always admires her from afar and up close once they end up a couple. It is amazing how Pam doesn't even realize he is doing it. But thankful for us, the audience, we get to see the love and cuteness unfold in front of our eyes.
3. The way they joke together.
Everyone loves to laugh, unless you are Dwight or Angela, cause both of them only laugh when they are being evil or don't have a laughing bone in their body. Jim and Pam can laugh about everything and anything together. I don't know about you, but if a guy can make me laugh on the first date and has a good sense of humor, my heart is his. Jim trolling Dwight is probably my favorite thing that happens in each episode. But I especially love when Jim encourages Pam to do the same. Such as the episode where Pam pretends to be a computer talking to Dwight.
4. The fact that Jim already had the engagement ring.
As many know, Jim and Pam do end up married. In the earlier episodes when they finally end up as a couple, we learn Jim had bought the ring not even a month into them dating. Its crazy how he did this, some may say creepy, but its amazing because he knew how much he loved her and he knew they would be together for the rest of their lives or should I say the rest of the show.
5. They are just too cute.
My final reason is that they are just perfect. They fit well together and are such a fun couple. Sure they are not a real life couple. But in this show, they are an amazing couple who we all can say are truly couple goals. I can't imagine them not being the best couple on this show.
Those are my five reasons that Jim and Pam from "The Office" are couple goals. They are such an amazing couple and one of my favorite on screen couples that I have come across so far.
