Picture this: You're standing in a room packed with people, when suddenly your childhood idol is three feet away from you, wearing sunglasses and singing all of his biggest hits.
That was me when I saw Jesse McCartney at Adrian College back in March. And yeah, it's safe to say that I died a little bit that night.
Now, a month later, he released a new single, and a new music video to go along with it. New single means new album, which means tour, which means meet and greet passes. Needless to say, the early 2000s fans are dying. (That includes me.)
He just released Better With You, his swoon-worthy new single with an adorable video to go along with it, and we're loving it.

1. Screaming
I loved him when I was ten! OMG! And now he's popular again? OMG!
2. Gushing over how attractive he (still) is

All of those old Tiger Beat posters? Yeah, they are totally going up on the wall in my dorm room.
4. Seriously wondering if you can marry him now that you're older
It makes sense now, right? I'm not a child anymore.
5. Listening to every single one of his albums
Let's be honest, you forgot Right Where You Want Me even existed, didn't you? What about Departure - Recharged? (Yes, the album with Leavin' and How Do You Sleep on it...) You better get listening.
6. ...Which means listening to Beautiful Soul on repeat
"I don't want another pretty face, I don't want just anyone to hold. I don't want my love to go to waste. I want you and your beautiful soul." (Admit it, you sang that in your head.)
7. Making plans to see him live
Because you owe it to your younger self to live out your dream and see Jesse live. (And scream the lyrics to Beautiful Soul as loud as you can.)
