Haven’t you heard already? Brangelina are splitting! You didn’t know? WHAT? You’re clearly not keeping up with what’s trending. #wastingyourlife

Frankly, I do not care how much time people waste talking about celebrities or worse writing numerous articles about their blissfully pretentious lives. But seriously, what made you think Jennifer Aniston needed you to reassure her about her happiness?

When you say this divorce makes her happy, you’re actually belittling everything else she has done with and in her life to a mere man she was married to; someone who was not even capable of being faithful to her. You’re saying her happiness is actually dependent on what happens in his life, that it increases with his failure.

And, at some point it may have been dependent on him if at all, but it’s been more than a decade! I am guessing our lovely Rachel realized he wasn’t her lobster! Even if slightly, that is such a wrong take. As a BIG fan of Friends, I am surprised by the pettiness of the people who are laughing or making memes out of something so ridiculous. It’s really not even funny. It is not satire; it’s not clever, it’s not important enough to be mentioned.

I too have been cheated on and, it’s been only a little more than a year since that incident. But I am not going to be happy if my ex were to fail in any way whatsoever. I was not happy when he broke up with the girl he cheated on me with. That would make the purpose of my life so much smaller than it really is. I take it as a good sign, because neither was I happy, nor relieved. My life remained unaffected.

I am guessing so did Jennifer’s. I understand everybody is different and may take different amounts of time to move on but 11 years is a long time. She is married now. And let’s leave aside another man’s role in her happiness. She has gone on to become the most successful Friends star. She has other reasons to smile and rejoice in the things that have fallen in place for her.

I am sure it brought a sense of closure (what she speaks about in the quote on the cover picture) and her belief in karma was restored, which definitely happened for me too but in no way did that make me gravely happy like these images suggest they made Jennifer!

P.S. To all the fans of Friends that shared this preposterous idea and helped sell it, you need to take a break!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
