The world is full of lavishing food that fulfills your taste buds, leaving you close to speechless. The Seattle area does not fail to succeed in the beautiful art form of creating awfully delicious recipes in order to satisfy those unique taste buds.
1. Lunchbox Laboratory
Lunchbox Laboratory is the first burger place I had ever fallen in love with. Though I am a carnivore, I would say their black bean vegetarian patty is one of my favorite orders there. Their fries are unique and delicious.
2. Tipsy Cow
Another burger place longing to be known, located close to Redmond Town Center, is Tipsy Cow. Their massive burgers are full of flavor, and their ice cream milkshakes are to die for. I’ve only ever gotten the salted caramel, but that one milkshake is always worth reliving.
3. Din Tai Fung
Originating from Taiwan, are little steamed dumpling buns called “xiaolongbao,” with dumpling like skin on the outside, and various types of meats or vegetables inside. They taste best with ginger and vinegar. Ding Tai Fung has the best xiaolongbao in America that I have ever been to. It is located in downtown Bellevue, as well as the U District, and it never fails to leave me satisfied.
4. Caffe Ladro
The best latte’s and Americanos I’ve ever devoured are from here. Hands down.
5. Seattle Coffee Works
Located downtown, in the heart of Seattle lives one of the most delectable coffee houses I’ve ever been to. The first time I went there, a few friends of mine and I split a vacuum coffee; a glass coffee maker that uses water vapor to brew coffee. The taste of the coffee had an aftertaste blend of berries and chocolate.
6. Kukai Ramen & Izakaya
Though there aren’t many Ramen places in Washington that have caught my attention, this was the only one that stuck. Located on Main St. in Bellevue lies this amazing Ramen house; I was greeted by a bow and Japanese, and served the most amazing spicy Ramen I’ve ever had in Washington.
7. Cupcake Royale
A place that sells coffee, ice cream, and cupcakes? Oh please! Located close to Pike Place Market lives a shop that sells all three of those. The ice cream is perfect on a sunny day, coffee is good anytime of the day, and the fluffy cupcakes with the most delectable frosting makes it impossible not to grin from the wonders of cake in your mouth. Definitely my favorite cupcake shop in Seattle.
8. Lady Yum
If you’re a fan of French confection, Lady Yum produces the most chewy and delicious macaroons (opinion) in Washington. This shop is located in downtown Kirkland by Marina Park. Some of them are topped with edible sparkles, some are decorated with toppings…but the Salted Caramel never ceases to be my favorite macaroon of all time there. The crunch is the perfect consistency for a macaroon, perfect amount of salt, and of course, the caramel makes my mouth overflow and water with delight.
9. Mike’s Noodle House
If you’re a fan of egg noodles and wontons, you will not be disappointed by this noodle house. Located in the district of Chinatown lies a tiny but nevertheless most amazing egg noodle house I have ever entered. The beef is always perfect, the broth is always fresh and not too salty, and the noodles are just the most wonderful Chinese noodles you will eat (at least in the moment).
10. SoulFood
If you’re a coffee and aesthetic fan, this is a coffee shop for you. The ceiling is decorated with coffee bags and other accessories, with a select amount of philosophical books on the shelf and amazing staff. The first time I asked the barista for a drink, I got an iced peach latte with soy milk.
