While most Instagram accounts are private, these accounts are usually made for someone's closest followers.Those who create these accounts won't include their real names to keep a low profile. It's common for most college students to have funny and embarrassing pictures or videos hidden on their phones from throughout the year. A "finsta" is used when you wouldn't post a certain photo/video for the general public. A handful of these accounts are used to post pictures with alcohol or drugs. It's time to delete these accounts, because your future may depend on it.

Social media is growing every single day. However, what we post on the internet could make or break your career. There have been hundreds of people who have lost their jobs or couldn't get hired due to what they post online. Businesses have the ability to gain access to all your social media platforms. They do this to research whether you're qualified for the job or if you're an ideal fit for their position.

Just because your name isn't in your username and your account is private doesn't mean that they don't have the ability to find your account.
