I know you feel attached to something or maybe even someone. But my questions is, why? Why do we constantly find it so hard to let go of something especially when it's hurting us? We know something is hurting us but yet we still keep going back to it.

I know from my own experience, I did not want to let go of someone because I assumed it would be different every time I went back to them. I guess I was just trying to find closure when in reality I was the one who was hurting myself even more. That's why it is so important to trust God.

I know that it's not easy to let go because you're stuck on what happened in the past. "But I focus on this one thing; Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead" (Philippians 3:13)

So I want to tell you that it's okay to let go. It may seem like it's the hard choice but it's definitely the right choice.
