It's Not A Goodbye. It's A See You Later

Saying goodbye is never easy. At some point we all have to do it. Human beings are truly beautiful-- we love with all we have and I have done that with you. Don't take this as an end to our friendship but the end of this story. A new one is being written as we speak. You are truly been a blessing. I wanted to thank you for hearing all my flaws and continuing to love me. It can be challenging.

I want to give you some advice:

Live everyday like it’s your last. For some people it is, so live for them.

I want you to love. Love with your every being because that is most beautiful way to ever love.

I want you to wish upon a star, but the next morning make your wish come true because no one is going to do that for you.

I want you to never look down on someone. No one has the right the make someone feel less human.

I want you to always have something to look forward to, but do not get lost in the hopes of the future and forget to live in the now.

I want you to know that the world is an ugly place. There are ugly people, but that is why God created people like you.

I want you to “be the change you wish to see in the world” (Gandhi said that, not me).

When you're feeling sad, I want you to remind yourself of everything truly amazing about you. (If you're having a hard time with that, I am a short phone call away). I truly believe that we cannot allow others to love us until we love ourselves.

I want you to be the truest version of yourself. Do not conform for anyone. That won't make you happy. Don't let anyone tell you what a good version of you is. You know that already.

If you're ever lost in your thoughts and can't sleep, count sheep.

If you have a passion for something, pursue it.

I want you to never allow someone with a sad look in their eyes go the rest of that day without being asked what's wrong.

When you mess up, acknowledge it. “I will never apologize for being me, but I will apologize for the times that I am not” Michael Carini once said; live by this.

I want you to know I will never forget you. Even when you feel like I am, know I could never. “If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever” -Winnie the Pooh

Shine bright, shine strong and live a life filled with love and no regrets.

This is not a goodbye. It’s a see you later.
