As an Italian, I feel that there are many things that non-Italians do not understand. With this misunderstanding, there are a lot of assumptions made about Italians. someone in the distance that is flailing their arms and throwing around their
hands, chances are, they’re Italian.

Anyone who says otherwise is not a true Italian.
More than half the time you’ll think you’re talking in a normal, inside voice, but you're actually scream-talking to the person next to you.
This typically ends with the person asking why you're yelling at them.
Nonna always makes the best food!
Although she makes a 12 course meal, in the end, it’s well worth the food baby.
Padre Pio is all around the house.
Nonna is always ready to tell his story whenever she brings a new one over.
Pasta is our go-to meal.
When in doubt you eat pasta!
There is never a need for a recipe because it is always modified.
A pinch of this and a sprinkle of that!
You are not allowed to go out on Sundays because it is family day.
If you did ask to go out, there's a high chance the wooden spoon was taken out.
You have family members with broken English.
When you're friends don't understand what they are saying, and you have to be the translator.
If you ever needed something, there was always "a guy" that could help you.
When in doubt call Uncle Tony and he can contact the mystery man.
