iPhone 6: Yay or Nay?

Getting sick of the same old iPhone features that freeze, or half the time you don't have enough room to even download updates?

Apple recently unveiled the iPhone 6 and the technology world is buzzing with speculation of whether the newest model is a must-have or not.

The new iPhone 6 has a few key features that Apple fans are excited about.

1. Bigger and Better Screen. Screen size matters to iPhone users. Ever since the development of the original few iPhone models, customers have always requested a larger screen. Apple listened to their customers and took their feedback into consideration when crafting the iPhone 6. The new iPhone features a 4.7 inch screen. The iPhone 6 Plus features a 5.5 inch screen. The screen also has a refreshed Retina display allowing for improved quality.

2. Improved Look and Feel. The bigger body of the iPhone 6 also has curved glass edges for comfortable holding. The phone, of course, is super slim at 0.27-inch. Color is always an important aspect for the iPhone. We've seen gold, black, white, rose gold, silver, and then of course, the series of colors that were birthed through the iPhone 5c. The iPhone 6 comes in gold, silver, and space gray. The power button has also moved to the right side of the phone, for easier use.

3. Camera. The new features of the camera help to take even better videos and photographs. Apple says that focus time is down. This means that you can take great quality pictures quicker than ever before. Also, colors are supposed to look more lifelike when flash is engaged on the iPhone 6. The HDR option is now automatically applied for all photos taken on the camera.

4. Internals. The iPhone 6 has an A8 processor that allows for 50 percent faster graphics and 25 percent faster CPU. These features should make the phone more power efficient. Power efficiency is something important to iPhone users because in the past battery life has tended to be an issue. With support added in the WiFi standard means that the iPhone 6 will have WiFi speeds three times faster than in the iPhone 5S.

The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus will be available in eight countries on September 19. However, pre-orders begin September 12 in the U.S. for those of you dying to get your paws on the bigger and better iPhone 6. The new iPhone starts at $199.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
