Ah, the introvert life...
Being an introvert can be quite interesting since each one of us is different and treats situations slightly different, but overall I feel we all have these common factors. So buckle up and enjoy this gif-ride of introvertism with me.
1. Deciding whether to get up or not is the question.
The struggle is real guys. Getting up is hard but actually physically pulling yourself off the bed is even harder.
2. The "I don't feel like being seen today" dress code.
It's too much of an effort for me to look cute today so I choose my bum wear. It's durable, comfortable, and helps me blend in at school.
3. Going to class and then coming straight home.
Yes, I have those days when I'd rather go directly back to my dorm than see anyone for that day.
4. When your friends make plans and invite you out.
"No sorry but I'm busy tonight," you say as you click on the Netflix site to finish that one Supernatural episode.
5. When you arrive at the party, you count down the minutes 'til you can leave.
The countdown begins as soon as I walk through those doors.
6. Controlling the urge not to cancel on friends....AGAIN.
I have been guilty of this on many occasions. You really have to control yourself not to come up with an excuse to cancel again.
7. Seeing that cute guy on campus and quickly glancing away when you make eye contact.
Uh....yeah, that's just me freaking out cause we made eye contact.
8. Meeting someone new and awkwardly trying to keep up the small talk.
It can be such a chore. Why can't we just dive into the juicy, deep stuff?
9. Being THAT friend who they spill the beans to.
As the appointed listener in your friend group, it can get a little overwhelming when they come to you with their problems.
