3 Things Inspiring My Life Right Now
Huffington Post

I have come to realize that throughout the last few months, a big part of who I am right now has been from outside influences. These have been both people and instances I have come across in my life. Specifically, three things that are currently inspiring me. These have sprouted from starting a new chapter in my life but also putting myself out there.

The first part of my life that is inspiring me are the people of which I have been surrounded by. My roommates, my sister, and the girls in my sorority are all a positive influence in where I am with my life. The girls I have met have all motivated me to follow through with what I want to do and any dreams I want to follow. The friendships I have formed and how they have influenced decisions I have made in my life is part of the reason I am as happy as I am today.

A major impact on my life has been dancing and that is the second main part of my life inspiring me. Growing up, dance was always my get away and still has always been my escape from reality. This has not only inspired me as I was growing up but has been even more important to me in the past few months as it has gotten me through hard tests, boy drama, and sleepless nights. The ability to express who I am and use that to motivate myself in other parts of my life and has gotten me through lots of hardships.

The last major inspiration of my life right now has been the ability to write. Starting in January I was given the ability to join a blog I had no idea would open up a new side of myself. Having the opportunity to write with hopes of reaching out to any readers. Part of finding inspiration in myself is using past life experiences and use it to inspire my future.

These three factors of my life have had a huge influence on who I am and are what have been major inspirations recently in my life. I think it’s important to have something that can be motivating and influence positive parts of your life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
