On campus, I hear the phrase "Hey, wanna get some Chipotle?" at least a dozen times per day. I've also been called the "girl-who-works-at-Chipotle" by several fellow students. Rarely have I heard a decline from anyone for a lunch date there because everyone loves a nice burrito. However, us college kids aren't necessarily the most health conscious or money savvy folks. There are some hidden tricks you can take advantage of to maximize your meal and feel great while eating it too!

Health Conscious?

At Chipotle, we offer menus at the entrance with full calorie information on all of our meals. Also, if you visit the online site, you have full access to every ingredient's full nutritional values. This way, you can meet your nutrition goals for the day. On Chipotle's website, they list possible combinations for your meal based on which dietary path you are taking. Low Calorie? Go for both beans and fresh tomato salsa. Paleo? Try Carnitas, our pork option, and don't add on guacamole! We have all types of people enter our stores every day, some wanting to consume more calories or carbs to burn off, and others trying to perfect their salad combination. Whatever your New Years resolution calls for, we can provide.

Busy Day?

Have only 30 minutes between classes all day? Tired of waiting in line every time you want your steak burrito? Have no fear, online ordering is here! Simply download the app on your smartphone or visit the website to place your order! You can build your order and even include sides and drinks. After you place your order pick-up time, head on up to the cashier to pay (or pre-pay) for your Chipotle and you're on your way! People will envy you as you bypass the line like a celebrity.

Have Dietary or Allergen Concerns?

Many "fast-food" stops are inconsiderate of restrictions such as Dairy-Free or Vegan consumers have. At Chipotle, we have options for Vegan, Vegetarian, Soy-Free, Wheat-Free, Dairy-Free, and Gluten-Free individuals! We do not use eggs, mustard, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, shellfish, or fish as ingredients for any food. Before preparing an order for someone with an allergy involves a sanitized cleaning of our line and hands, so we can guarantee the best experience for your needs.

Did you know: All of our rices, beans, chips, and salsas fit into the restrictions listed above! There are options for everyone.

Low on Cash?

At Chipotle, there are few ways you can get hit with a price you didn't expect. For example, extra portions of meat and guacamole will earn you an extra fee. However, you can still have your two meats and guacamole without being asked "It's extra, is that okay?" While ordering your meat, ask for half-and-half portions of meat instead of opting for the double-meat charge. You will be asked to pay for the more expensive meat. If guacamole's $1.95 price tag is scary, try beans or fajita veggies instead of meat. Meat-free bowls, excluding our tofu option, will be given guac for no added cost!

Tip: Not many know, but online ordering on Tuesdays can save you extra bucks well. Some locations, including Adrian, Michigan's, offer a "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" deal for those who order online on Tuesdays.

However plain or crazy your order may be, there is no doubt you will leave our restaurant craving it again. So unwrap that burrito, crunch into those tacos, get together with some friends and enjoy your food made with high standards at Chipotle Mexican Grill!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
