Do you like sweet, indie love songs? Upbeat pop songs more your style? Check out this playlist full of songs to get your point across to your crush. Send them a couple of songs or a whole playlist with a clever title to tell them how you feel.

You're the One- Greta Van Fleet

The title says it all for this one. Get straight to the point with this sweet song from GVF's latest album.

New House- Rex Orange County

instagram- rexorangecounty

A brand new song dropped on Valentine's Day, Rex posted a sweet message about the support he receives and a message for his girlfriend. "I can see us in a house next year, You'll be making your mind up, You can figure out what goes where, You'll be keeping it real with me all the time"

Static Space Lovers- Foster the People

Foster the People is always a great addition to any playlist. Send this to your zodiac compatible crush for all of the star filled references: "'Cause I won't live without your constellation"

Heavy- POWERS

instagram- powers

POWERS provided a great alternative song, reminiscent of No Doubt, that explains that feeling of falling hard for someone. Add this to your playlist to tell your future man "I'm never gonna give you up".

Trouble- Omar Apollo

A shoutout to an Indiana artist: Omar Apollo is a current rising artist that deserves your attention now. Trouble is a slow but chill song to tell your crush you're ready for more. "Kiss me one time, I've been dying to know, If this is real life, Then I'm down with growing old"

Longshot- Catfish and the Bottlemen

Is sending this playlist a long shot? Absolutely not, especially when you add this song from Irish band Catfish and the Bottmen's newest release.

Fade into You- Mazzy Star

"I look to you to see the truth." A beautiful, moody throwback track for this playlist. Definitely a go-to of mine when I want to feel at ease.

I Want You Around- Snoh Aalegra

instagram- snohaalegra

Need more of a sultry feel? Snoh Aalegra has a great, unique R&B sound that's perfect for your playlist.

Wait by the River- Lord Huron

Lord Huron has had one of my favorite sounds for a few years now. This song is a little less moody than what I normally play from their discography, but this song is perfect for any playlist for someone in your life. "At the edge of the city, I will wait for you."

Ultralife- Oh Wonder

The original is a sweet, upbeat song. However, I HIGHLY recommend the Abbey Road Piano Sessions version which is a slowed down acoustic version.

Tyrant- Kali Uchis ft. Jorja Smith

instagram- kaliuchis

Another R&B addition, Kali and Jorja's sounds are both equally amazing and even better together in this song. Tell your crush that their "love is like a kaleidoscope" with this fun track.

R.E.M.- Ariana Grande

instagram- arianagrande

My pop addition to the playlist because Ariana Grande deserves an appearance, and what better way to tell your crush that you are feeling him than "Boy you're such a dream to me".

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Whether you're commuting or dorming, your first year of college is a huge adjustment. The transition from living with parents to being on my own was an experience I couldn't have even imagined- both a good and a bad thing. Here's a personal archive of a few of the things I learned after going away for the first time.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
