I think we can all say that this past election season has been one for the books. I know most of us aren't thrilled with the results, myself included; however, it's a blow we must accept. We can't allow ourselves to live in the shadows of fear; it's the darkest place one can live. We can't wallow in the flames of hatred; we'll all come out burned.
We must take a note from Mrs. Clinton herself when she chose to wear a purple ensemble that night, instead of the traditional red and blue. We must unite. We're a country that as been divided for so long and we're finally making progress.
Screw making America great again. Let's make America great, period. Let's be better than we were yesterday.
We will continue to live our lives to better ourselves and the world around us. We will be kinder, braver, tougher, smarter, and louder. We are a generation that will not take no for an answer. We will be relentless in the best way possible. We will not have our ever deserving rights taken from us. We are a country founded on democracy and promises of freedom. Freedoms that we are still fighting for; America - when will we stop fighting? It's about time we take a stand and join forces, differences aside, because we are the UNITED States of America. The next four years will be a revolution, no doubt.
America - let's make it one of peace and forgiveness because I don't know how much more we can take. Hatred is exhausting. Love is rejuvenating. They say love trumps hate for a reason.
