If you tell a girl “We’re going out!”, she’ll need to think it over.
Weigh the pro’s and con’s. The mood of the evening, the outfit decisions and whether or not her ex will be out. Whether she has the will and determination to start the getting ready process or naaaaah.
When you let her think it over, she’ll ask to get ready together.
This involves extreme coordination, sharing of closets, hair styling tools and various eye shadow pigments. It'll also involve the raiding of closets.
When you get ready together, you’ll have to share the bathroom.
The counter will be filled with multiple mascara tubes, "Naked" palettes and elbows trying to draw the right eyeliner angle. This is where the biggest transformation happens.
Once the makeup is done, it’s time for the hair.
Will you be natural, straightened or curled? Half up, half down? Ariana Grande? Will it be the same as always or are you taking a hair flip on the wild side?
Now, comes the outfit.
Exchange, casual, all out? What’s the setting? There will be options, there will be mixing and matching and it will most likely end in a completely new outfit that was never thought of in the first place. (Don’t even get me started on the wedges debate. Black, brown, tall, clog?)
Of course there will be sporadic dance parties.

And when she is finally ready, she’ll need about 30 minutes to take pictures.

When you tell her it’s time to go, she’ll ask who’s paying for the Uber?
