If Game of Thrones Characters Were College Majors
Daily Dot

With season seven of the new series of Game of Thrones right around the corner, GoT fans are freaking out. After an intense season seven, who knows what the final season will have in store for waiting fans. Besides the fiction, the remaining characters that we have come to love and to hate have all kinds of relatable traits. I

n fact, each character can be related to a college major. Keep scrolling to see what favorite character would study at school!

Daenerys Targaryen - Social Work

Dany is all about helping those in need. Her mission in life is to save the innocents from the cruelty in the world. Just like social work majors, she's there to help societies function better and promote the well-being of an individual and community level. She and social work majors are here to save the day!

Tyrion Lannister - Business

The youngest Lannister is perhaps the most cunning and analytical of the family. His ability to make deals and swindle any kind of trade means he might have studied business in college. He's good with numbers and solving critical issues in an allotted amount of time. You either love him or you hate him, just like business majors. To Tyrion, failure just isn't an option, making business the perfect major for the Hand of the Queen.

Jon Snow - Criminal Justice

Although it's said that Jon Snow knows nothing, it's quite clearly knows something. The King of the North worked his way up through the Night's Watch and like Dany, fights the corrupt in the world. He stands for honesty and bringing those to justice, just like criminal justice majors. Snow (or should we say Targaryen) sees the good in people, all while punishing those who don't do what's right.

Sansa Stark - Women's Studies

Unfortunately like Sansa, women's studies majors get a lot of criticism from those on the outside. But that doesn't stop her from being a powerful woman. She's seen and been through a lot of horrors, yet still, manages to rise above as strong woman. Surrounded by men who view her as weak and powerless, she's the perfect image of a woman who's overcome. Her feministic ideas and strength would have landed her in the front row of all her women's studies classes.

Cersei Lannister - Psychology

Cersei Lannister knows how someone's feeling before he even realizes the emotion. She knows your darkest fears without you even telling one. She can tell you your deepest desires before you can even speak a word. There's no doubt that the Queen would be the best in her psychology classes. Like psych majors, she has a way with words, emotions and reading people. No wonder she's sitting on the Iron Throne.

The GoT cast is not limited to the majors, as they're just a few. But it's quite clear that our GoT wouldn't have a hard time fitting in at school. In a game of thrones, you win or you die. Sounds a little like college.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
