Fraternities, typically, carry a specific stereotype and the houses on campus are no exception. Just
watch Animal House or Neighbors and you will see what most of the world thinks
fraternities are all about. Urban Dictionary defines a fraternity as, "a
large quantity of males in the same house attempting to gather females (usually
sorority girls) to parties that involve an obscene amount of
alcohol."
Let's look at fraternities from a
different angle. Sure, each house has a reputation. But which celebrity would
represent these houses on the red carpet?
Pi Kappa Alpha: Kellan Lutz. Kellan Lutz, lead in the Twilight
series, is likely one of the most muscular celebrities. He played Hercules in
the Legend Of Hercules, if that says anything at all. He is all about staying
buff and fit, and sticking to a strict diet of protein shakes to cultivate
those abs.
Kappa Alpha Order: Matthew
McConaughey. As a well known actor, Matthew McConaughey is beloved by all. His
southern charm is captivating and he was born and raised in Texas. Known
universally as a womanizer, his deep accent gets him places in life.
Phi Delta Theta: Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds is quoted
saying, "I've definitely done my share of debaucheries -- and
life-threatening booze." He is a party-happy charmer, who is a goofball
and always up for a good time. Focused, yet relaxed, Reynolds steals the show
whenever he walks in.
Phi Gamma Delta: Zac
Efron. Known as the chill, pretty boy Zac
Efron has been the fun partier since the age of 17 when he stepped into the
celebrity spotlight. Starring in the movie Neighbors, he epitomizes the
stereotypical frat star lifestyle.
Sigma Alpha Epsilon: George
Clooney."The charm is simple, natural,
free-flowing. And, yes, he is as good-looking in real life." This is how The
Daily Beast describes this DILF who women of all ages admire. He is known for
being a kind, personable celebrity.
Beta Theta Pi: James Franco. James Franco is aware that he has a
reputation. As an elusive and intriguing star, Franco has stolen the stage, over the years, in
various roles and forums.
Lamba Chi Alpha: Joseph
Gordon-Levitt. His sharp features and moody exterior
may throw some people off, but Gordon-Levitt has
a reputation as one of the more amiable actors in the business. He is
content with acting in any role, no matter the size, which is very
admirable.
Sigma Phi Epsilon: Justin
Timberlake. He is beloved by all, and his talent does not go unnoticed. Timberlake's favorable reputation as a thespian has
been featured on SNL multiple times, and he is content with poking fun at
himself while knowing that he is everyone's favorite.
Sigma Chi: Bradley Cooper. Bradley Cooper is a multifaceted
actor who seems to get along with just about anyone. Chill and
content with playing a variety of different roles, he is a favorite for just
about any role.
Kappa Sigma: Robert Pattinson. Pattinson became famous in the
Twilight series, when he starred alongside Kristen Stewart as the lead actor, playing Edward Cullen. His fame has since continued, and his reputation is based
primarily on his vampire performances.
