Coming from Cape Cod, my friends and I are self proclaimed "ice cream snobs." We know all of the good places with local flavors and homemade ice cream, and never settle for Friendly's, except in the winter. Every meal ends with ice cream, in fact more than once a week ice cream becomes the meal. During one of these ice cream outings, we started talking about if different personalities were ice cream flavors, much like a BuzzFeed quiz. Here is a compiled list of what we thought fit certain flavors, we hope you enjoy!

Vanilla/Chocolate

You're person of tradition, and don't go against the grain. You stick to routines and often dislike new situations. You tend to be pretty basic and the word "change" is not in your vocabulary.

Strawberry

You're mature and willing to step up and be the adult when needed. You try to be young and you are able to embrace life around you, but at the end of the day you love being the old person of your friends.

Coffee

You are high energy. You're able to get a lot accomplished in little time because you can be everywhere at once. You're the hard worker of the group because when you have all that energy, what else would you do besides excel and get ahead of everyone else?

Pistachio

You tend to be nice in concept, but no one really picks you in the end. You might not be chosen often, but are often tolerated at the very least.

Mint Chip

You're classic and classy. You never go out of style and appeal to everyone. As the Jackie Kennedy of ice cream, everyone admires you and your simple elegance that sets you apart from the crowd.

Rocky Road

You're an adrenaline junky. No one can stop you from jumping out of the side of a plane or from conquering the world. You are always ready for an adventure which makes you so appealing to everyone.

Sorbet

You are the vegetable of deserts. Literally you make everyone else look bad because you are generally so good at everything that it is hard to feel accomplished in your presence.

Milky Way

You're out of this world. No one dislikes you because you are so ahead of your time. You always keep part of yourself hidden which makes you interesting to others in the sense that everyone wants to get to know you.

Bubble Gum

You have such a bubbly personality and appeal to everyone at one point or another. You're sweet and care about others, but you know your boundaries with people and don't push through those.

Cake Batter

You are too sweet. You are wonderful, but generally in small doses. You probably have a skeleton hidden in your closest somewhere, but you keep it so well hidden by your glimmery personality that no one can find it.

Chocolate Peanut Butter

You're the goofball of the group. With your nutty personality, no one can be upset with you in the room. You keep everyone laughing and on their toes for the next joke.

Lobster Ice Cream

You love being one with nature and the world around you. Your earthy, crunchy personality makes a statement, but everyone embraces and loves how much you love the world around you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
