I Am Irresponsible...

I Am Irresponsible...

I am irresponsible.

I struggle with staying organized.

I haven't lived up to my potential.

I have a way of sabotaging my happiness.

My house gets messy.

I have unhealthy habits.

I am afraid of commitment.

I listen to offensive and loud music.

I take extreme risks.

I have a criminal record.

I don't call my sister enough.

I never wear sunscreen.

My student loan is in default.

I swear often.

I missed my jury duty summons. Twice!

I have hurt people and I have affected lives by making poor choices.

I have been selfish, spoiled, and naive.

I am loud and can be overbearing.

I chew with my mouth open sometimes.

I drink milk right out of the carton and I LOVE doing it.

Moreover, I didn't vote OR pay my taxes....

I am just not the perfect person with a perfect life.

I do not have an untarnished record, and my future is unclear.

I am sometimes unstable and insecure.

Truth is, I can be a total pain in the ass...

AND I AM OK WITH THIS.

INFACT, I AM SOTHANKFUL.

I AM OK WITH MY LIFE AND I AM GRATEFUL TO BE ME!

You see, I have accepted all of me and somewhere along the way, I learned to LOVE myself.

I love the fact that I am a loyal friend.

I love how my mind works.

I love the fact that I don't hate people.

I love my body.

I love how much I love my family and friends.

I love the amazing children that I made.

I love my dog.

I love my sister!

I love to sing.

I love that I have strong emotions.

I love my defiance.

And I love the fact that I will stand up for what I believe in and that I believe in humanity.

I love that I am curious.

I love my sense of humor.

I love to feel adrenaline.

I love to escape reality at times.

I love to read and I love writing.

I love the fact that I give a fuck and that I want to make this world a better place.

I love to help others and I love the fact that this gives me a sense of purpose.

I love my higher power, planet Earth. I love her beauty and her power.

I love making connections, promoting growth, and learning new things.

Infact, I love to be wrong- because understanding and admitting this means that I am being given the right information.

I love to think about deep things.

I also love to play practical jokes and laugh at funny things.

I love my ex, he is my best friend.

I love being a woman- I'm committed to uniting us again and bringing back our sisterhood.

I love art, and music, and culture.

I love lighthouses (they rule) and seashells and seashell things...

I love to cry, this means I am moved.

Heck, I just love to love...

I am aware of my setbacks and struggles, and even more... I am grateful for them. Because they have taught me that we are all human. We are all imperfectly perfect. And we are all in this boat and on this planet together. I am so lucky, because I developed the most amazing ability! It is something that I consider to be the greatest gift of lifetimes. This is the pinnacle of achievement and growth. It took some accountability and forgiveness to understand it, but I gratefully opened my eyes and my heart followed.

I think that the ability to love another soul unconditionally is why we are here.

It is the apex of our spiritual evolution.

It connects our souls to all life in the unuverse, and this leaves the bearer of such a beautiful love so empowered, so fortunate, and so damn lucky...

I am so grateful that I learned how to love myself... Because when I did, I learned how to love you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
