Coming from an obsessive dog-lover, I do not believe humans are deserving of dogs. I have two that just make my world go 'round. They are my best friends, and I love them like family. The unconditional love I receive from my dogs has made me realize we are undeserving of everything they have to offer. Now, let me tell you a few reasons why.

1. They are loyal.

Dogs are likely the most loyal creatures in the world. I honestly feel like my dogs are apart of my support system. They're at home ready to cheer me up at the end of any good or bad day.

2. They are cuddly.

There's something special about having a dog laying in bed next to you. It's always good to know someone wants you as their cuddle buddy.

3. They are oblivious.

Your dog doesn't care if you failed your exam or if you were involved in drama with your friends, they just want to play and cuddle regardless of what else is going on.

4. They do not hold grudges.

This makes dogs the PERFECT best friends. Did you dress them up in a ridiculous costume for an Instagram photo? Did you forget to buy their favorite dog treats? Yeah, but they won't hold it against you.

5. They are your personal therapists.

There's a reason therapy dogs exist. Dogs serve as friends when you feel like you have none, stress relievers when it all becomes too much, and leaders when you're lost. Plus, they don't cost near as much as human therapists!

6. They are forever happy.

While humans have a rollercoaster of emotions, dogs are pretty consistently happy. You know that one friend you love because they are so happy all the time? You're probably thinking of your dog.

7. They are intelligent.

Dogs bring a lot to the table when it comes to intelligence. I have witnessed dogs learn commands faster than I could ever learn anything in my physics class.

8. Corgis

I do not mean to be biased, but corgis alone are proof of dogs' superiority. What more can humans ask for than watching a little potato with legs run around?

9. They are furry comedians.

When scrolling through your Facebook feed, you're bound to come across a funny dog video or picture. I have seen dogs doing yoga, smiling for selfies with their owners, and singing to the radio.

11. They are an animated, real-life greeting card.

Have you ever gotten a birthday card that has something pop out at you? You can experience that everyday by walking into a house with a dog. They're almost always excited to see you come through that door. For me, that is the best greeting a girl could ask for after a long day.

12. THEY ARE SO DANG CUTE.

Whether you're a dog-lover, cat-lover, or just an overall animal-lover, you have to admit dogs are SO cute! I am blessed to have two furry comedians, personal therapists, and loyal companions of my own. Go home and give your dog some extra hugs and kisses because they deserve that and much more!
