HOW TO TAKE THE FULL ADVANTAGE OF ONLINE LEARNING

Online Learning is different from going to schools. It can be challenging at time. It demands focus, dedication and much more to complete any course. You may call it a convenient way of learning but it does mean that it does not require hard work. Here, you need to understand the difference between reality and expectation. It is not going to be easy if you do not make a plan to do it properly.

Tips TO Make Online Learning Beneficial:

To make the best out of your online study, keep in mind the following points.

  • A Good internet connection is Vital:

The first thing that comes in the mind when we talk about anything online is the internet. A good internet connection is the fundamental requirement of online study. It helps you in staying connected with your course and any changes that might happen during the course in your schedule. Try to store important data like the trainer's contact number and your study material. You can take help from cloud storage too to avoid any technology mishap.

  • Stay Dedicated To Your Work:

It is all your dedication that helps you complete anything successfully. If you are staying at home and studying online, it means that you can be distracted easily. To stay focused, create a study environment. You can sit in the room where you will have least distraction. Focus on studying. Keep in your mind that if you are doing anything on the internet does mean that you will be switching to social media during your study time.

  • Make A Study Plan And Work Accordingly:

Make a plan for your studies. Make assignments on time. Here your time management skill is going to work. You must know how much time you are going to take in completing an assignment. Fix the hours that you are going to spend daily on your studies.

  • Stay In Touch With Your Instructor:

Do not hesitate in asking anything from your instructor. It is very important that you keep in contact with your instructor. If you do not understand anything, tell him immediately otherwise you will stay behind in your course. Asking question is the key to simplify problems.

  • Take Part In Discussions:

If you are doing any course online, it means that you will have virtual classmates too. Be an open person. Do not hesitate in expressing yourself. Participate in activities. Speak up if anything new comes in your mind. Convey your thoughts but respect others' opinion too. Expressing yourself in a good way is important too. So, keep in mind your tone as you are conveying everything online. Try to write clearly to avoid confusions. Preparing your assignments in a group can build a good relationship with virtual classmates and you can complete your assignment in a short time with the help of others.

  • Take a break To Stay Fresh:

Sitting in the same position and working on the internet may create dullness. You may feel difficulty in focusing at times. The best option is to take a short break from the work rather than forcing yourself to study. You can come back refresh and work in a better way after a short break.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
