The new year is here, which means that you're most likely thinking about how to work on any New Years' resolutions that you have. If you're like me and spend tons of money on coffee, then you're probably thinking of ways to work on your coffee addiction.

Going to coffee shops like Starbucks every day can get extremely expensive. In addition, purchasing coffee at the store can also be pricey. There are a lot of people that will often tell me to just give it up.

But, if you're like me and are either constantly going to morning classes, working, or are planning on becoming a teacher, giving up coffee really isn't an option.

The good news is you don't have to give up coffee cold turkey in order to save money. Here are 20 ways to spend less money on coffee in 2020.

1. Try Cheaper Brand Coffee Like "Folgers"
