Instagram is by far one of the biggest competitions on the internet. Everyone is competing to have the best Instagram, most followers, and most likes. Any person who isn't a celebrity has to work for the perfect page. There are so many different things that can be done to create the "best Instagram on the internet."
1.Create a theme

There are so many types of themes that can be created.
You can do a color theme which means you only post pictures with a certain color. You could either take pictures and have them preplanned or you can edit the pictures to only show one color.
You can do a people theme which would be two pictures of artsy pictures on the outside with a picture of you in the middle of the grid or vise versa.
Themes are what you like and like to see. You can do any thing that you think represents you, just stick to it!
2. Schedule your posts

Oddly enough, there is actually a certain time of the day when the most people scroll through Instagram. The perfect time to post any pictures is in the late afternoon to about eight p.m. This is the primetime on social media. It's been a long day at work or school, and all they want to do is relax and play on their phone. Am I wrong? Isn't this what you do everyday? Yes, people go on it at different times of the day, but at this point in the day, you will get the most likes. You're post will show up on your followers' feed. If you post in the morning it will gradually get more, but if you post in the middle of the night you won't get many at all. Your picture will just be lost in the feed.
3. Post on your story frequently
Your story on Instagram is your daily art you get to show off. Post more on there because people will see it and click to see your page which is the main goal. On your story, you should make it fun! Some ways to do that is to add gifs, draw designs, make it look old-fashioned like a polaroid picture, or like a post card. The options are limitless which is how you make it uniquely yours.
4. Follow general pages
Follow pages of things you are interesting in. For example if you like music, start following certain music pages. Once you do this, some people who also follow those pages start following you and liking your pictures as well. It just a big marketing statement. If you follow a certain music artist, then other up-coming artists will like your pictures to get your attention to check them out. Following general pages, helps you get noticed.
5. Keep your captions on point
Captions are the easiest way to make your picture have a purpose. They can be used in so many different ways. You can make the punny or add a story to them. If you have a good caption to go with a great picture, you will get lots of comments to boost you. Captions are key. If you need help coming up with a caption, you can alway go on Pinterest or just google some, but make sure to find one that fits you and the picture not one that you always see.
6. Be different
This is your Instagram that you are glamming up; you want it to uniquely represent you. Make sure that once you have your own style stick to it. People like seeing different things, so don't follow the trends and post things that are similar to what you always see on Instagram. Find your own way of styling your page. Get creative and make it fun! The more fun you have, the more people will see your page. If you keep it simple with simple pictures and captions, stick to it or maybe create an extravogent post and always post those. Whatever you like, post it, and if you practice some of these ways you're guaranteed the best Instagram on the internet.
