Are you bummed about being single this February 14th? Don't be since February 13th is known as Galentine's Day! If you're new to Galentine's Day don't fret, here are 5 ways how to have the best Galentine's Day Ever.
Have A Girl’s Night
Sound the alarms and get all your girlfriends together, the more the merrier! Wear something that makes you feel confident & sexy, and make sure your makeup is on point! Your girls notice what you’re wearing more than anyone else ever will, so dress up for yourself and to impress them! Make plans with your girlfriends to either host a Galentine's Day party at your place or have a night out on the town!
Have Chocolate Amenities
I’m pretty sure it’s against the law to not eat chocolate during the Valentine's Day season, so don’t be the only person who doesn’t have some! Chocolate calories don't count on Galentine's Day. Get some of your favorite candy, or go out and try a new delicious chocolaty dessert!
Watch Something Funny
How To Be Single is making its debut February 12th, and this would be the perfect comedy to go see with your girlfriends. Whether you binge watch your favorite tv shows on Netflix, or watch a classic like Mean Girls, Bridesmaids or Trainwreck, make sure you watch something funny with your girlfriends! Crying is not allowed on Galentine's Day, unless it's from laughter!
Treat Yo Self!
If everyone else is getting showered with love on February 14th, why shouldn’t you shower yourself with some love on Galentine's Day? “Treat yo self” originated from the amazing Amy Poehler on her show Parks And Recreation. "Treat yo self" is the idea that you indulge in whatever your heart desires; shopping splurge, delicious guilty foods, or a mani/pedi spa day...TREAT YO SELF!
Don’t Talk About Exes
Chicks before d*cks! Galentine’s Day is all about appreciating your girlfriends, so don’t waste a single second talking about your exes! Instead of reminiscing about old relationships and what went wrong, reminisce with your girlfriends about all your funny adventures and memories you have with them! At the end of the day, your girlfriends are the only ones who will let you know you when your outfit doesn’t look right, tell you when you’re acting like a crazy person, and be there for you if you just need to ugly cry.
