When I was only yet moving into college, I thought I was a liberal person coming to a liberal campus. With every PAF session and introductory lecture, I got a sense of the fact that there were things I could not say and ideas I could not think on a college campus. First thing I did? I panicked. I had believed that the people on campus where some of the smartest there are in the world. Could it be that this conservative world was our future – was I not getting something, some reason why this was better for people? I felt that I was just too stupid to understand
why people were deliberately cutting away some of their freedom – what, it was
actually for the better?
I got over that feeling. I looked things up, read blog posts, watched videos and a small (~three) set of resources that you can check out if you think that it is wrong that you are not comfortable on a college campus because your views are too progressive – or if you consider the college's views to be too progressive. These videos helped me understand that my views have a right to exist and that I am not the only one who thinks so.
Long, simple, and well-made videos about modern political and social problems. Sargon gives a very reasoned and, most importantly for this list, very different view of topics that are popular and are often discussed.
Sargon was a breath of fresh air for me -- seeing things like this
reminded me that there are many people who think differently.
2. Onision

3. South Park
Simple, huh? Having issues with the concept of "Safe Space" against "Brave Space"? Check out the new season of "South Park" which is dedicated to "safe spaces," college campuses, and shaming.
Watching SP, like watching Sargon, reminds me how many like-minded people are out there.
I really hope that this will help some people, and maybe I'll even hear back from some them.
