Breakfast is by far the best meal. Waking up and drinking some piping hot coffee while watching tv in your pajamas is the best feeling and adding pancakes, french toast, cinnamon rolls, or whatever your heart can dream up is the next best thing. I'm going to teach you how to create the perfect breakfast! (And give you my famous pancake recipe that all my friends love!!)

Step one.

For my breakfast, I'm going to brew some coffee and make some bacon to go with my pancakes. Brew your first cup of coffee and grab the ingredients. You'll need:

2 tablespoons of butter

1/2 cup of flour

1/2 cup of milk

A pinch of salt

1/2 of sugar

2 eggs

Step 2

Heat up the oven (425 degrees) and grab a glass bowl to put the mixture in. This is very important that you use glass or this pancake will not rise. This is a Dutch pancake, so it just makes a very large pancake that rises in the over to look like a cake. When you pull it out, it will be flat.

Step 3

Grab the bacon out of the fridge along with a pan to fry it in. Turn the stove on high heat and let the bacon begin to simmer in the pan.

Step 4

Mix together all of the ingredients needed for the pancake in the glass bowl. Make sure it is evenly spread out across the pan and stick that bad boy in the oven for 15 minutes. If need be, check the oven every few minutes just to make sure it does not burn.

Step 5

Flip the bacon after letting it simmer a minute and keep an eye on it. Grab a plate with about 5 paper towels stacked on top and when the bacon is done, set it there and let the bacon grease drain.

Step 6

Pull the pancake out after about 15 minutes give or take a few and slice yourself a piece. Set a couple pieces of bacon on your plate and pour the syrup all over it. Sit down and turn on "Friends." Treat yo' self to a relaxing morning. You deserve it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
