Balancing life and school at the same time is just too hard sometimes.

When it comes to balancing work, school and life it can be a little complicated to focus on all 3 without getting too overwhelmed. Here are a few tips to keep you sane!

1. Relax

You need to relax and take time for yourself. If not you might get overwhelmed and not be happy. Taking time to relax even if it a few moments each day when you get home from school, take it! You will feel better.

2. Keep a Planner

This helps with keeping things organized and keeping your life on track. If you know something is due, write it down because it will help you remember as well.

3. Take things in strides, don't do everything at once.

This means you should take time and do thing easy and slow so you don`t rush into something and get the tasks completed correctly.

4. Breathe

Always make time to breathe and take in life because one day you might not be around to enjoy it as much as you want to.

5. Keep Going

No matter what happens in life, when it gets you down or up, keep striving for something good. Don`t feel discouraged by the little things. Keep your head up, and keep trucking along.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
