I am sure everyone watched at least a portion of the Grammy's, or heard about the fact that Bruno Mars went home with six Grammy's, Kesha had an amazing performance, and Alessia Cara was the only woman to win a major award. Instead of getting worked up about the way the night went down, I thought I would look at some of my fave singers/songwriters/actors/actresses and their incredible looks of the night!
1. Zayn Malik
Zayn Malik always seems to look good, but he is really pulling off the pink suit. Plus the flower embroidery seems to be more popular in the past year.
2. Cardi B
Cardi’s makeup is amazing and her dress is definitely eye-catching! Since this is her first Grammy Awards, she had to have a showstopper, and I’d say she achieved that!
3. Zendaya
What can I say? Zendaya always looks amazing, and there was no exception at the Grammy awards. Her dress is gorgeous, and her makeup looks beautiful
4. Kesha
Kesha’s loose blonde waves are a great contrast to the navy blue suit she is wearing. The details on her suit are stunning and follow the trend of floral embroidery.
5. Khalid
Khalid wore a classy cream-colored suit and a slightly risky green colored turtleneck under but he totally rocked it. Plus, he wore the white rose to protest with the Time’s Up Movement, which calls for action against sexual harassment, assault, and inequality in the workplace.
6. Lorde
Lorde looked so stunning in this red dress and matching red lip! While she didn’t win on stage, she definitely won in the bold color category!
7. Hailee Steinfeld
Steinfeld definitely took a risk with the metallic purple boots contrasting with the white dress, but I think it looks great and it’s definitely unique. With the addition of the colorful eyeshadow, the whole look is brought together nicely!
8. Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga also dawned the white rose in honor of the Time’s Up movement. She also surprised everyone with what looked to be a dress, but was actually a jumpsuit and wraparound skirt! Her Victorian-style braid in her hair matched her outfit and looked gorgeous!
9. SZA
SZA looked angelic at her first-ever Grammy awards with her white and cream-colored dress! Also, in her hand, she also carries a white rose. However, this look wasn’t seen on stage as she didn’t win ANY of the awards she was nominated for.
10. Sam Smith
Sam Smith gave off a very Christmas-y vibe with his dark green suit and red shirt underneath. Smith can be added to the long list of celebs to incorporate the white rose into his outfit.
11. Bruno Mars
Bruno Mars continues the Christmas vibes a little bit with his shiny red jacket. It must have seemed like Christmas to him when he took home all six of the awards he was nominated for!
12. Nick Jonas
Nick Jonas’s outfit seemed pretty simple underneath, with the plain black pants and a Detroit t-shirt, but the jacket definitely dressed it up. He too added a white rose to his attire.
13. Jaden Smith
Jaden Smith is known for his fashion. His bold statements are seen here, with his raw patched pants and his neon jacket. He topped it off with the title of his album “Syre” written on his hand.
14. DJ Khaled and Asahd
I had to include DJ Khaled and his adorable son matching outfits! They wore beautiful read velvet suits and matching bow ties.
15. Beyoncé
Beyoncé’s look was inspired by the Black Panthers. She also wore a set of earrings worth $6.8 million. She is truly an icon.
Pretty much every star on the red carpet looked stunning, and many used their platform to support important movements and ideas. I hope this trend continues and people continue to serve looks and represent the ideas they believe in!
