4 Reasons You Can't Miss Christmas At The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter

While the Wizarding World of Harry Potter always offers a magical experience for all witches, wizards, and muggles who choose to visit, this holiday season offers something extra special. With special holiday events going through January 6th, the Wizarding World is sure to make you say "Happy Christmas" to all you hold near and dear.

4. Holiday music and entertainment.

The Frog Choir that usually performs in Hogsmeade village will be putting on a special show for the holidays. Their set list now includes special Christmas songs such as "Christmas at Hogwarts," "We Wish You a Merry Christmas," "The Most Magical Yule Ball of All," and "I Cast a Spell on Father Christmas." Witches, wizards and muggles can catch this performance periodically throughout the day on the stage located in front of Hogwarts castle.

In Diagon Alley, visitors can hear the famed witch Celestina Warbeck perform special holiday songs from her album titled Nothin' Like a Holiday Spell featuring songs like "Accio Christmas," "My Baby Gave me a Hippogriff for Christmas" and "A Witch and Wizard's Wintry Wondrous Land."

Nothing like some good wizarding tunes to put you in the spirit of the season.

3. Christmas decor.

The Wizarding World has been decked out with holiday cheer more than ever before. From the second muggles enter the gates of Hogsmeade Village or cross through the brick wall into Diagon Alley, they are transported to a magical winter wonderland. Holiday wreaths welcome shoppers to Honeydukes and the other stores lining the street with garland lining every rooftop. Come back at night to see Christmas lights down both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley as well! Hogwarts itself is a sight to behold. The forbidden forest twinkles at night with luminescent pinecones that welcome visitors to the castle. Inside the castle features wreaths, a Christmas tree and even Christmas cards lining the fireplace of the Gryffindor Common Room.

2. Hot Butterbeer and other seasonal treats.

Hot Butterbeer is back! Served only seasonally during the colder months, this fan favorite is enough of a reason to come to visit the Wizarding World. This sweet treat will keep keep you warm and bubbly as you peruse the shops down Diagon Alley and through Hogsmeade Village.

There will also be special seasonal meals at the Leaky Cauldron and The Three Broomsticks that will put you in the holiday spirit.

1. The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts.

But the most magical Christmas decorations of all come at sunset.

Watch Hogwarts castle come alive at twilight with a spectacle of lights! Using special light projection technology, several times throughout the evening Hogwarts castle is transformed with Christmas cheer. Watch out for some of your favorite enchanted objects that make appearances throughout the show as the ghosts, witches, and wizards decorate for the holidays. With a wondrous firework finale, the show is sure to put you in the spirit of the holidays.

I'm so excited about all the holiday decor at Universal Orlando's Wizarding World! Come out in your best robes to celebrate the holidays with your favorite witches and wizards.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
