New Year's resolutions are always made, mostly never accomplished. Why? Lack of motivation, forgetting about them, or they're too hard. In this article, I will give you ten simple things to do in 2017 that will make you feel better and accomplished.
1. Smile/Laugh more
In 2017, laugh at the stupid pun your co-worker made, smile at a stranger on the street. You will feel happier, and other people will notice it too.
2. Meet new people
Break out of your comfort zone and make at least 2 new friends this 2017.
3. Get a better sleep pattern
Try to go to bed the same time every night to create a healthy sleep schedule. You will feel less tired, and more refreshed.
4. Read more
Reading is a great way to attain more knowledge and it keeps your brain in shape!
5. Pet more dogs
Probably the easiest thing to do on this list.
6. Learn a new recipe
Put down the ramen and frozen pizzas and cook something delicious! Not only did you learn something new, you got a good meal out of it too.
7. Take more photographs
Pictures are a great way to capture memories. Take pictures of your friends, family, significant others, pets anything! You won't regret it when you look back and relive all the memories you made in 2017.
8. Have a Treat Yo Self day
TREAT YO SELF 2017! Because you deserve it.
9. Volunteer!
Volunteering is a great way to make a difference and help you feel good about yourself! Nursing home, animal shelter, soup kitchen anything! Get out there and give back to your community.
10. Drink more water
Drinking more water will improve your health immensely. Your skin will become clearer, your hair healthier and many many more health benefits.
