"Saturday Night Live" has been fantastic lately. They also do well around an election season, and the extreme turbulence of this election leading to an extremely turbulent presidency the case and crew have had extra fuel for their fire. Kristen Stewart hosting on February 4 was a gem among gems. Here are some of the highlights.

1. Trump's phone call with Zimbabwe (among others)

"You think you are a dictator? I will rip out your spine!"

2. Kristen accidentally swearing in the monologue

3. The Totinos commercial/short foreign indie film

Excuse me while I go out and buy every box of Totinos I can find.

4. The updated "Welcome to the United States" video

"And you will be required to eat a hot dog in front of us."

5. Dry Fridays

Please tell us more stories, Courtney!

6. Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer

I have a lot of thoughts about this, but I'll try to sum it up quickly. This is art. I love Melissa McCarthy. She was perfect. I couldn't believe how funny this was when watching for the first time (then many times after) though it became bittersweet when I thought, "Oh no, this reflects what is happening in the White House right now."

7. Kate McKinnon as Betsy DeVos

Is there no end to the characters that Kate McKinnon can play?

8. Speaking of which, the return of Justin Bieber

9. Leslie Jones as Samuel L. Jackson

Especially breaking character

10. Our final sketch with Kristen Stewart as Charlie

"I really do have polio."

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

8tracks radio

We all scroll through the radio stations in the car every once in a while, whether its because we lost signal to our favorite one or we are just bored with the same ol' songs every day. You know when you're going through and you hear a song where you're just like "I forgot this existed!" and before you know it, you're singing every word? Yeah, me too. Like, 95% of the time. If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
