The "High School Musical" trilogy is probably Disney Channel's most successful and notable movie series. As a person growing up with "High School Musical," I have so many fond memories of watching the movies, singing along, and memorizing every line and lyric.

Now that I'm in college, how can I relate to these movies that I watched when I was just a little kid? Well, it's quite simple... Zac Efron is getting hotter as he ages AND "High School Musical" songs relate to so many college majors. So, here are 10 college majors as told by "HSM" songs!

1. Psychology: "Getcha Head in the Game"

As a Psychology major myself, almost everything I learn deals with thoughts and cognitions of people. To help someone with a mental disorder, you have to get into their head and view the world from their perspective. To do this, you have to getcha head in the game!

2. Biology and Pre-Medicine: "Stick to the Status Quo"

At Stony Brook University, almost everyone is a biology major on the pre-med track. So this is really sticking to the status quo of SBU. To all those pre-med students, have fun joining the rest of the herd in Javits 100 for BIO 203 and organic chemistry!

3. Multidisciplinary Studies: "Breaking Free"

Multidisciplinary studies is a major in which you focus on multiple studies, basically making your own major. The people who major in this are definitely breaking free from the status quo and paving their own paths! I commend you for flyin' away from the typical pre-med SBU student.

4. Musical Theater: "Bop to the Top"

As a musical theater major, life is rough. You need to bop your way to the top to be the best of all of your classmates and hopefully land a gig on an off-Broadway production. All I have to say is good luck to all of you aspiring to be the next Idina Menzel. Show business is not easy! (Just ask Sharpay Evans!)

5. Sports Management: "I Don't Dance"

This song is probably the most ironic song of HSM because they are singing about how they don't dance as they are dancing. Odd. Anyway, Chad Danforth in "HSM" is a well-rounded athlete who plays basketball and baseball exceptionally well. I imagine that he would love to be in sports management— despite his godly talent of singing and dancing. "I Don't Dance" is for all of you athletes that want to be in sports management, but probably have an artistic side that you're afraid to show as well.

6. Fashion Design: "Fabulous"

Obviously, Sharpay is one of the most fashionable girls in school, especially for being a teenager in 2007. This song describes all of the fashion design majors who are as eclectic and fabulous as Sharpay!

7. Finance: "Bet On It"

Finance, to me, is about risk and return. This is essentially betting. So for all of you finance majors who are betting on it, just sing a song about your emotions during your interviews at finance corporations and you are sure to get the job. Right?

8. Chemistry: "Work This Out"

Chemistry is all about working out problems with equations, formulas, and laws of chemistry. If you can't work it out, then this major is not for you. Trust me, I've tried.

9. Dance: "Can I Have This Dance"

"Can I Have This Dance" is for all the talented dancers who are singing in the rain! All you want to do is dance to express your emotions, as Troy and Gabriella do 75% of the time in "High School Musical" 1, 2, and 3. So go ahead and dance your hearts out! It worked out pretty well in the end for Troy and Gabriella.

10. Biomedical Engineering: "Scream"

My boyfriend is a biomedical engineering major and all I can say is bless his poor little soul. He is constantly stressed out and does work 90% of the day. This major is for the intellectual and thoughtful college student who wants to take their love of science and engineering to help others. But sometimes with all of your work, you just want to scream. Go ahead and scream! It will make you feel better (but you still have to do your work).

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
