There are a lot of life lessons locked away in our childhood. Each day of the week, we are faced with new challenges. But did you know that Spongebob secretly encoded characters to help us push through? Here’s a look at seven "Spongebob Squarepants" characters and their lessons for us each day of the week!

Sunday:

The day commonly associated with rest. It’s a day for R&R, P&W or a little TLC. Who better to represent this than Patrick Star: the pink and plump founder of Wombology. Make note of what Patrick does in order to truly have the best life hacks for the launching day of the week.

1.Sleep.

2. Eat.

3. Sleep some more, this time on a rock.

4. Eat.

5.Hang out with Friends.

6. Sleep.

Monday:

I’m ready, I’m ready, I’m ready.

The beginning of the work week or school week, Monday crashes to the depths of our core like a pineapple tossed into the sea. Spongebob is the maestro of the Monday morning routine. He’s a sponge, but he surprisingly more prolific than absorbent.

Be optimistic, spontaneous and enigmatic.

Tuesday:

That momentum from Monday can easily fade. The best way to channel that energy again is to use the disciplines. Sandy Cheeks. It’s the passion that overrides ennui. She’s a scientist, karate sensei and proud Texan.

Tuesdays are the days where you need to live via the little things, the reminders. Maybe you don’t feel like making a list for Tuesday—that’s OK! Actually accomplish what you set out to do on Monday but didn’t actually do.

Wednesday:

Hump day! Wednesday’s are the elusive challenge to the modern world. The midpoint, the crux, the nucleus…or the breaking point, the climax, the situation room, the red zone—Wednesday is make or break. Every protagonist needs some form of a rival, even if it’s no larger than a shrimp: Plankton.

On these days, it’s OK to be a little sinister.

Maybe even a little more communicative with your technology and not actual people. And remember, no matter how many times you fail to access that Krabby Patty secret formula…try, try again.

Thursday:

Well Wednesday sucked. What now? Squidward.

The week has been brutal, and maybe you just need some time to kick back and jam. Music can be a replenishment of energy and enthusiasm.

But let’s be real, maybe this week has been soaked with slim and we are sinking deeper and deeper into some abysmal sorrows… it’s ok to be a grump, for a bit.

Friday:

The redemption, the pay-off, the big win. Savor this day for all of its worth.

Just like any penny-pincher, Mr. Krabs reminds us how to get the most bang for your buck. Let Friday be your “pay-day.”

Treat yourself! Shiver me timbers, maybe it’s even time for some debauchery. Debauchery? Debauchery!

Saturday:

Arguably one of the best days of the week rolls around. It’s been dragging, a slow approach.

But it’s here. Meow. Our pet day, our pet: Gary. Saturday exemplifies the pampered life. Eat snail-po, take your snail bath, do what you need to do! Care of your shell.

And remember... Sometimes, it’s OK to be reclusive.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
