Time. We ask ourselves what is time? Time is different for many people. It may be the time on a clock, how much time till graduation or how much time they have left with their loved one. The one thing about time is sometimes there’s not enough. Society puts a time limit on people’s lives, to when they should go to college, get married, have kids and so on. As many people may know, time goes by very fast when you don’t want it to. The moments you want to hold onto and value the most is when time is taken away from you. In the blink of an eye, it is over.

As 2016 comes to a close we look back at all that has gone on this past year. Many historical events like a new president being elected to many personal experiences for people. It is crazy to think as the years go on, everyone gets older but the world goes on. Unfortunately, throughout the years we lose loved ones and also gain new ones along the way.

Time is a very hard concept to understand. We as humans never truly understand or can grasp the idea of time. We will never know what our future holds. All we can do is live every day to the most. Think of every day as it is our last. Time may be a part of us, but to live without out it is the best thing possible. Live on and enjoy the small memorable moments that people cherish. Many wish to go back in time to relive a certain moment. Living in every moment and cherish every second is what heck of a life.

Yes, we all have time limits on everything and have a plan that is set for us, but you never know when the time is up. In 2017 make a promise to yourself to live every day or even one day a week to the fullest. Don’t think of a timed schedule, or what everyone else thinks. Live like it is your last, and it will truly brighten up your life. Time is limited, what will you do with it?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
