1. Wireless Charging

Samsung has used this feature as a central bragging point over the iPhone, but it’s fair to say that apple probably has bigger plans than just wireless charging. Being the leading innovation in technology it wouldn’t surprise me if apple has had wireless charging capability for years but is waiting to include it in a bigger iPhone upgrade, such as next year’s iPhone which is rumored to be due for a major design overhaul. My guess is that we will see wireless charging next year along with a lot of other features.

2. More Customizing options

This is another bragging point that android users usually resort to, the fact that android phones are a lot more customizable than iPhone. From the color of individual messages to home screen transition effects android does give its users a lot of ways to make their phone their own and perhaps too many? One thing Apple users love about iPhone is their streamlined simplicity. If you ask an android user to use an iPhone they probably won’t think it is simple but for Apple’s loyal fans e treasure the simpleness of the OS and while it would be nice to have a couple of customizing features, I personally have no need to mix and match the size of my widgets.

3. “Dark Mode”

This feature has been in the rumor mill for quite a while. Twitter recently released a dark mode that they call “night mode” and turns the UI (user interface) dark blue or black instead of white. The contrast makes the whole twitter experience a lot better at least in my opinion. Granted, I would be happy if apple had a dark mode for their messaging app or at least let us change the white background. Apple does have an invert colors option in the settings under general and accessibility shortcut but it makes everything look trippy.

4. Get Rid of the Bezels

Yet another bragging point for Samsung, Apple has yet to get rid of the ridiculously huge screen bezels on the iPhone. Getting rid of them would make a lot of customers happy because it would free up a lot of screen space on the phone. Rumor has it that next year’s iteration of the iPhone will be completely bezel free even on the top and bottom, this would allow for edge to edge to edge to edge screens and they are said to be finding ways to embed the finger print scanner, light sensor, and ear piece in the phone itself which would be pretty awesome.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
