How many times has your friend asked you to go to the gym with them and you thought, "I really want to get moving but I really just want to go home." I am here to tell you that you can have it all. You can do both.

1. Get your groceries delivered, or shop at 11 p.m.

There are fewer things more bougie than getting your groceries delivered, but if it helps you eat better, so be it! Be bougie! It is way better than getting every meal delivered. Your heart will thank you!

The closest to alone I've ever been in a Giant grocery store is at 11 p.m. So, if you want to eat better, shop with a list. Shop late at night. Don't fall asleep in the aisle.

2. Cook actual food in your actual kitchen.

Some of the healthiest foods to make are the easiest. Oatmeal, baked chicken, steamed veggies, eggs. You don't even need to cook fruit, you literally just eat it. If you can't think about eggs right now because you are too distracted by Beyonce's side-boob, here's a how-to for later.

3. Work out at home.

Yes, I'm serious. If burpees aren't your jam (IDK anyone like this anyway,) you can always take to Youtube or Pinterest and find something that interests you. Do what I do, and watch your favorite show while you do it. I hate going to the gym. It's too bright, there are too many people, I don't like The Bachelor, and it's not my house. I mostly hate the gym because it's not my house. I found that I love running outside, but working out with bodyweight or hand weights at home is what keeps me strong.

4. Make your own coffee.

What does Starbucks have on your coffee pot? They make it vanilla? Okay, so buy a $3 bottle of vanilla extract and start drinking your coffee at home. You will save time, money, and calories.

5. Sleep. For the love of all that is good, sleep.

When I say sleep, I mean put yourself to bed. Get a bedtime routine. Take your birth control, drink some water, stretch, set your alarm, turn off the TV, close the laptop, flip over your phone, and tuck yourself in. Sleep is one of the most important parts of being healthy. Your mind needs rest, and your body needs rest. Many of us get into bed when we get home and do homework on our laptop, scroll through Instagram, some people eat take-out in their beds. Try waiting until bedtime to get into bed, and then actually go to sleep. Just see how you feel the next morning, you will thank me.

You probably already know that cooking is healthier than eating out, and that sleep is amazing. It's important to know that it's not just what you do: its how you do it, and where you do it. If your comfort level is through the roof when you're at home, make the best use of that good feeling, and do something good for yourself. Cook with Alexa on 10. Pet your cat between crunches. When the day is finally done, snuggle in and rest up. You are worth the time and the energy it takes to stay healthy. Good luck!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
