From the beginning of time, we were appointed to be healthy and energetic. We were to represent God’s perfect handiwork by bearing His image both outwardly and character wise. I think it is important that we eat whole foods. In the beginning of this world, God gave us all the necessary foods to eat with the absence of additives, preservative, and pesticides.
“Their home was surrounded by indescribable beauty. The four river-heads, the blue skies above, the unfading flowers of every hue, various trees with their diverse foliage and fruit, lovely vines, and green grass, their lovely home.” (The Anointed Life, p. 20) My mind can only slightly imagine how perfect everything was. The climate was never too hot or too cold; it was always constant and flawless. It was truly paradise.
I think marriage and it’s sacred nature have been overlooked throughout the ages. Marriage is when a man and a woman come together to become one. “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Genesis 2:24 This does mean that two people of the same sex should become one because it is unnatural. It also does not condone sex before marriage for it says in Hebrews 13:4, “Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.” I believe that marriage is a blessing as long as we obey the Holy principles God has made for husband and wife.
I wish I could have had the opportunity to walk side by side in the garden with Jesus just as Adam and Eve did. They eagerly awaited His presence in both the morning and the evening. I admit that I am not as strong and consistent with my devotion as I should. My spiritual nature can only prosper and strengthen as I walk with Jesus every day. I need a strong relationship with God and He longs to spend time with me every day. A personal relationship with Jesus is the only way I love my neighbor, endure hardships, and still find hope.
It was God’s plan from the beginning to have us anointed in all dimensions of our being. And as a Christian, I must present my body as a holy sacrifice unto God.
