Is it because we have so much in common? Or because we are such opposites? I honestly could not tell you, but, there is no one in this world who understands me like you do, both as my best friend and my boyfriend.
I knew from the time I met you I was instantly attracted to you. It wasn't just your typical high school crush, it was a real connection. From the very first moment we met, I was in love with you. Sounds crazy, right? I was instantly in love with the way you smile, that quirky little smile of yours. The way you looked at me (and still do) like I was the only person in the room. Everything about you was (and still is) so perfect to me. Now, to make it even greater, you aren't just any guy. You're my boyfriend and best friend all in one.
You, my darling, take on a role much greater than the title "boyfriend." You are my best friend, my rock, and my everything. When I think of my future, it includes you, too. I couldn't imagine loving anyone else (and anyone else loving me too).

Thank you for kissing my forehead right when I need you to, and tickling me until I can barely breathe. Thank you for our random car rides, when you sing with me as loud as you possibly can with the windows down. Thank you for going on spontaneous adventures with me and for laying in bed with me all day watching Netflix. Thank you for loving TJ Maxx just as much as I do and for sitting outside of Victoria Secret while I shop. Thank you for making me apart of your family and for being apart of mine. And most importantly of all, thank you for loving me of who I am, not who I was.
Now, almost three years later, you are still that same boy I fell in love with, but you're even greater. How did I become so lucky? To find a guy who loves me not only as his girlfriend, but as his best friend, too? How on earth did I find someone who would not only love me this much, but my family and friends too? I don't know, but I am so thankful I did.
