There are few worse feelings in this world than getting dumped - that is, unless, your significant other is dumping you for someone else. After watching last night's "finasco" of a finale on The Bachelor, a huge piece of my heart went out to Hannah Ann Sluss - a Bachelor nation queen and an ultimate role model to young women struggling in their relationships.

Progressing through this season, I will say that I never expected Peter to propose to Hannah Ann, regardless of the circumstances. Time and time again, Peter referred to Hannah Ann as being his "rock," never wavering from his side while he explored tumultuous relationships with the other women. The majority of this season was focused on anyone but Hannah Ann, as she seemed to be one of the least dramatic contestants and didn't draw any crazy attention to herself. With that being said, it is incredibly obvious that Peter took advantage of her in more ways than one. Aside from only proposing to Hannah Ann because she was the last contestant left and he didn't want to leave Australia alone, Peter utilized the fact that she was his "rock" throughout the season, and he know that she would always be there as a fall back if his relationship with Madison Prewett did not work out. After Madi left, Peter should have followed suit and spared Hannah Ann the unnecessary heartbreak.

After watching Hannah Ann and Peter end their engagement, I could not have been happier to see how she conducted herself throughout that conversation, and how she continued to do so on the live finale. During this entire season, Hannah Ann has portrayed nothing but a sweet, caring and understanding persona. We have never seen her show her emotions like she did at Peter's house in Los Angeles, but regardless, she handled herself with class. She was not afraid to make Peter admit to what exactly he did to hurt her, and quickly shut him down when he wanted to continue to talk to her, saying the felt "betrayed enough" and did not need to hear anymore from him. During the live finale, she exposed Peter once again after he reached out to former Bachelorette Hannah Brown for closure during the time he was engaged, all while battling his inner feelings toward Madi. Plainly stated, Hannah Ann shared that Peter was simply not ready for an engagement, at least to her, and that he had no right to take away what should have been her only engagement.

Props to you, Hannah Ann Sluss, for standing up for yourself. You continuously gave of yourself while receiving very little in return, and though that did not change you, it allowed you to know your worth. You are a role model to every woman who has ever been made to feel like they are second best when they deserve to be somebody's first choice everyday.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
