The month of October is the spookiest time of the year! Halloween is creeping up sooner than you think so it's time to get your spook on. What better way to do this than by making fun and easy Halloween treats with your friends and family? I know it's hard to get in the holiday spirit when you're away from home. It can be hard to find ways to decorate and participate in Halloween festivities, so making treats with your friends is a great way to enjoy the holiday while treating yourself. I have listed five Halloween treats that I've absolutely loved making with my friends and family, and I know you will too.

1. Jack Skellington Oreo pops

This delicious chocolate covered Oreo is a very simple and fun treat to make. The recipe explains how to make the chocolate covered Oreo, but you can decorate them yourself. Some other ideas for decorating besides Jack Skellington from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" could be a mummy, a witch, eyeballs, a ghost or really anything your heart desires.

2. Halloween marshmallow pops

These marshmallows are covered in dark chocolate and coated with sprinkles, giving a very rich and sweet taste. With these marshmallows, there are so many different ways to decorate them. For example, you can make a mummy, a skeleton, or even a pumpkin.

These chocolate covered pretzels are fun and delicious treats. With these pretzels the options of designs are endless. From pumpkins to mummies or even bats, you can always find fun ways to decorate them.

They are very easy to make and you're guaranteed a great time when making them because they're many different ideas to play off of. Ghosts, candy corn, eyeballs, witches fingers and more are always great ideas for decorating these pretzels.

These cupcakes are so cute and simple to make, especially for kids. With these cupcakes there are so many different ways to design them, from witch hats, pumpkins, bats and more!

All of these treats are very fun and creative ways to get into the holiday spirit. If you have an afternoon that's free or even just a few hours one day, and you want to be creative this is a great way to do so. I have made every single one of these desserts and they've all turned out amazing. I had a great time making them and an even better time eating them with my family and friends.
