Growing Up With Thick Hair

I was born with a full head of hair. Half of my baby pictures are with me and an afro. I love my hair but it's a struggle to keep it all together. I'm not the only one that's gone through hair ties and broken combs every week. So if you have a full head of hair, then this is what your day consists of.

1) Blow drying runs up that electric bill.

2) Brushing your hair resulted in the deaths of all your good brushes and combs.


3) Hair trails are left behind in the bathroom.


4) This is why scrunchies are making a comeback.


5) Doing your hair and it only holds for 20 seconds when your outside and then the wave of humidity hits.


6) When mom used to do your hair.


7) And that's when the perms started

8) Doing your hair takes a full episode of Grey's Anatomy so you wake up early.

9) Then you realize you have bed hair

10) You run through hair products in three weeks


11) Ponytails suck


But you still manage to slay the whole day
