I don't know why, but it's just so hard for me to get into a routine/habit of doing something. Once I start and stay consistent, it gets easier, but the first few weeks are always so hard for me to stick with. For example, one of my goals a few years ago was to journal more. I was so inconsistent with it all my life, but after setting a goal to do it every day of January, the habit stuck and I continued into February, March, then the rest of the year. Now I've journaled every day since 2017. I came up with a list of habits I want to implement in my college routine just to improve my health and happiness.
Wash and moisturize skin
Drink at least 3 liters of water
Eat at least one serving of fruits and vegetables
Move my body: some sort of workout, even just a walk
Read a chapter of scripture/pray
Text a friend or family member
Make bed/tidy my room
Read for 20 minutes
Write 3 things I'm grateful for
Plan my meals/day for tomorrow
