Guys come in all different personalities and styles and finding The One who has all of the qualities you want in a guy is like finding a diamond in the rough. Rare but amazingly beautiful when you find one. So to find this rare diamond, you will have to find some other beautiful gems, but not really the shiny diamond you are looking for. Below are a list of guys you most likely will date while looking for The One. Reminder, these are not all types of guys you will find. The world is an ocean with many fish in the sea.

The Overly Attractive One

This will be the guy who is known for his looks, and only his looks! He might be some form of athlete and make you wonder why he would choose you out. He will mainly be focused on maintaining his perfect bod and not so much on you. And did I mention, he is hotter than the sun on the 4th of July!

The Ambitious Overachiever Guy

This is the guy who is a part of every social group known to man. Whether that be writing for the school paper, volunteering at a homeless shelter, or focusing on his track to have a Ph.D. by the age of 25. Seems crazy right?

The One Who Always Liked You

Remember that guy who in eighth grade who would always save you a seat on the bus, next to the window like you liked? Yes, he liked you then and will probably always like you. You finally give him a chance but realize he just isn't the one for you. Sometimes people are just meant to stay friends.

The Perfect Guy Online

Online dating is not for everyone and not everyone online is who they say they are. One day he will seem like an angel telling you everything you want to hear. And then the next, he will be threatening you and practically calling you a piece of shit.

The Older Guy

For once, you think that because he is older, he is more experienced, more intelligent, and more put together. But honey, age does not define any of that including maturity. And sometimes it feels like you two can never get on the same page. He wants to begin his future and you are still in the planning stages of your own future

And there are many more types of guys you will come across before finding The One. Or one of the guys listed above could be The One for you. The funny thing about love is that it has no boundaries on who you fall in love with. As long as you love the person for them and can see the nothing but the future with them, then you deserve to be happy with whoever you end up with. So here is to the many guys or girls who will come into your life and change it, whether it be for the better or worse. You won't know why that person came into your life until after they have already taken their spot. Trust your heart and brain to help make the right decision and don't be afraid to love someone.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
