Have you ever wondered why we roll our eyes when you holler out your window while driving by?

It's because we feel like you just treated us like an object and not a person. You just judged us immediately by our bodies and nothing else.

Your small comments as we walk past you make us super uncomfortable. And sometimes we actually get nervous because guys can be super creepy and follow you. So, your stalker-like comments and scary looks freak us out and are not working in your favor.

What if the tables turned and we shouted things at you like “nice ass boy?”

Maybe you wouldn’t care, but we sure do. First off it makes you seem like a douche bag immediately, second what’s the point? If you find a girl attractive you should strike up a humane conversation with her and things might work out much better for you. It may surprise you, but unlike dogs we’re not going to run to you when you shout stuff at us. It is quite the opposite, we start walking faster in a different direction just to get far away from you.

I haven’t met many girls that are okay with cat calls, I’m sure there are few that like it, but the majority do not.

In fact, most girls I have talked to say it drives them so crazy they end up having a bad attitude from it because they get so pissed off. I understand, it is so irritating when a girl is just trying to walk somewhere, and guys roll down their windows to look you up and down and make some type of “F-Boy” comment.

So, guys please keep driving and stay quiet if you are going to be annoying. Let girls walk without feeling uncomfortable or unsafe. Try being a decent human being and if you don’t have anything polite to say, don’t say anything at all.

Thanks, from all the girls who are tired of it.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
