At this point, holiday movies have become so predictable that it's easy to guess the plot points ahead of time. I'm trying my hand at predicting "Santa Girl", starring Jennifer Stone.

Santa's grooming her to take over once he retires

I'm guessing there's no male successor like in "Arthur Christmas".

She's good at Santa-ing but she doesn't want to. She wants to be a regular girl. 

Someone comments on her last name

But does she lie about it or embrace it?

She gets into ~crazy college hijinks~

She makes friends who are quick to dispense love advice

She gets a love interest

Santa disapproves of said love interest

There's an emergency at the North Pole and she has to help

She uses what she learned during college to help her and saves the day

Santa finally approves of her staying at college, and the guy she likes.
