"Grey's Anatomy" Characters Go-To Athens Bars

It's a beautiful night to go to the bar.

"Grey's Anatomy" Characters Go-To Athens Bars

After watching all 12 seasons of "Grey's Anatomy" (twice), I have become very familiar with each characters unique personality. Another thing I have become familiar with is the type of crowd each Athens bar draws in. The combination of these typically unrelated subjects has led me here: Which Athens bar would each "Grey's Anatomy" character most likely be found?

1. Alex Karev: The C.I.

Alex Karev, one of the last original cast members still standing, is a heartthrob. Deep down, he’s a really great guy, but puts up this tough guy exterior. He can definitely be a huge tool, and his past collegiate athletic career is probably to thank for that. He’d be posted up with at the C.I.

2.Christina Yang: Casa Nueva

The only thing Christina Yang loves more than cardiothoracic surgery is tequila. Whenever she’s in doubt, she dances it out (then slugs a bottle of tequila with Meredith). That’s why you’d find her at none other than Casa Nueva.

* For a short period of time she could be found bartending at the Smiling Skull. *

3. Callie Torrez: Cat's Eye

Callie Torrez is a complete and utter badass. She doesn’t take crap from anyone and definitely won’t take no for an answer. She’s tough, and you wouldn’t want to mess with her, so on any given night you’d find her at the Cat’s Eye.

4. Mark Sloan: Courtside

Mark Sloan (may your beautiful body rest in peace), is the life of the party. He’s outgoing and a certified flirt. You could find Sloan at Courtside, probably trying to steal your girl.

5. Meredith Grey: Crystal

Meredith Grey. She’s the girl everyone knows, with the boyfriend everyone wants. She’s guaranteed to be found at Crystal having a great time, but if you asked her what her story is, she’d tell you she’s “just a girl in a bar.”

6. Miranda Bailey: Jackie O's

Miranda Bailey positively influences anyone she comes in contact with. She is wise beyond her years and has a unique personality that others lack. Bailey would take advantage of a more low-key atmosphere at Jackie O's.

7. Izzie Stevens: J Bar

Izzie Stevens: the one that got away. She’s talented and worked her ass off at Seattle Grace, despite a few laps in judgment (why why why did you cut the LVAD wire). She’d definitely be the girl making questionable decisions at J Bar.

8. Preston Burke: The Pub

Preston Burke is unpredictable. No one can ever quite decide what he is thinking or what his next move is. With a dark and mysterious personality, he’d definitely be found at the Pub, because who knows what even goes on behind that dark brown door.

9. George O'Malley: Redbrick

George O’Malley, the most-missed character from Grey’s Anatomy (and one fictional death that I’ll never get over), is genuine and never discriminates against anyone. George can be relied on any time, anywhere. With a child-like innocence, George would be at Redbrick.

10. Richard Weber: Tony's

Richard Weber serves as the father figure for the surgeons at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. As long time chief of surgery, he oversees everything that happens. His wisdom would lead him with the older crowd that gathers at Tony’s (not drinking of course, he’s been sober since season 6).

11. Derek Shepard: Stephens

Derek Shephard, better known as McDreamy, is an all around impressive guy. He’s smart and talented, has a beautiful family, and have you seen him in that Ferry Boat scrub cap? He knows how to make people laugh and is good with a crowd. You could find him at Stephens, probably asking a beautiful girl, “So, what’s your story?”

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
