Greys Anatomy the first show I ever watched on Netflix. The show that I finished in four months. The show that made me happy or crying my eyes out. I am still not ever George O'Malley's death. Greys Anatomy has many strong and independent characters that people like. We just have to pray for them, so they will not die. Here are 10 characters, alive or deceased, on Greys Anatomy that I favored/miss. Its a love-hate relationship.
If I spoil anything, I am sorry, I have never been great at keeping secrets!
1) George O'Malley
I know this is shocking. When I first met George, he was awkward and sweet. George was a ray of sunshine on the show. George is like the friend that you cannot yell out because you are afraid to hurt his feelings. George was always there for his fellow doctors. He made each episode a tad better by just existing in the series. George O'Malley gone, but never forgotten.
2) Lexie Grey
Lexie was the ball of energy, who always looked on the bright side. Lexie saw the best in people and tried her hardest with anything. Lexie was the best Grey sister hands down. Lexie was all smiles throughout her four seasons. She was a hard worker and cared for every fellow doctor in Seattle Grace.
3) Alex Karev
Alex Karev has the most character development throughout the entire series. When I first met Alex, I did not like him, I thought he was way too mean, but then I discovered his sweet side. He was always there for Izzie, even when she did not treat him right. Alex is one of the four original characters left on the show. Prayers do work for Greys Anatomy, Alex made it through 13 seasons, soon to be 14 seasons!
4) April Kepner
When I first met April, she was innocent and naïve. She saw no wrong in the world and was positive about everything. April is one character who I can relate to the most for religious reasons and morals. Throughout her first four seasons, April is a goody-two shoes who does not break the rules. Then when she goes to Iraq in season 11, she comes back revived and April is catholic!
5) Mark Sloan
McSteamy was the ultimate bad boy! Mark had an enchanting appeal to him that made me love him. He was witty and determined. Mark always tried his hardest to make the people in his life happy. Mark is the character that you know you shouldn't love, but you do anyway. He was charming and down-to-earth. Mark will always be remembered as McSteamy because he is steamy!
6) Jackson Avery
The blue eyes are Jackson's best feature. When I first met Jackson, I was like "Wow! He is really handsome"! Then as I was able to learn about his character, I fell in love with his personality. Jackson is the perfect frat guy, for obvious reasons, but frat guys are nice and so is Jackson. Jackson worked hard to achieve his goals and he was always protective over April, but that is ok because Japril is amazing!
7) Dereck Shepard
How can I not put McDreamy on this list! McDreamy is the first male character that every girl loves. He is so charming and dreamy. Dereck was an idealist throughout his 11 seasons and he was an overcomer. Dereck was always the first to look for the solution and saw each day as "A Beautiful Day To Save Lives"! I know that looks are not important, but have you seen his hair, its glorious!
8) Miranda Bailey
The sassiest character of them all! She did not take NO for an answer and you did NOT cross her. In the first seasons, Dr. Bailey was sassy and hard working and now she is the chief of surgery. Dr. Bailey is now happier with her life and is doing what she loves and is finally in a well-rounded marriage with Ben. Dr. Bailey will always be remembered as the Queen of Sass!
9) Denny Duquette
The first character death that made everyone cry a river. Denny was the happy go lucky patient who believed that he could accomplish so much in his life. Denny was optimistic and goofy in the best ways, he was always making a comment on everything. I was stoked when Denny came back in season 3, it was a wonderful reunion.
10) Cristina Yang
Cristina was outspoken and a total boss in the operating room. She was brutally honest and did not back down from a challenge. She laughed in the face of danger and had no patience for weak. Cristina was feisty and sassy and was always in and out of relationships, but she was fearless and forward-looking. Cristina was never stuck in the past.
