The Grateful Dead is an American rock band known for their iconic sound and unique lyrics. Recently celebrating their 50th Anniversary, The Band toured from the mid-1960s on into the 1990s and had an avid fan base known as "Deadheads."
The Grateful Dead paved the way for a new era of music called psychedelic rock and have left a legacy to last for generations to come. The Grateful Dead's songs/lyrics reflected what was going on in the world at that time and many fundamental truths to life.
