Area 51 has always been shrouded in mystery and conspiracy. With the upcoming Storm Area 51 event, here are all the possible discoveries lurking behind those doors.
Aliens
This one is a given. There are numerous possibilities as to what exactly the government is hiding. Is it something along the lines of "Independence Day" and they have a whole alien floating in a tube? Or is it more like "Roswell" and aliens live among us? We shall see.
Bigfoot
Bigfoot has been spotted way too many times for there not to be something at the root of the mystery.
Unicorns
There are so many animals that we know exist and seem like they shouldn't (i.e. platypus, giraffe, pangolin, etc.). Is a horse with a horn so hard to believe?
Men in Black Headquarters
Men in Black isn't just a gag for a movie. People have claimed to be visited by “mysterious men wearing black suits." In the movie, Men in Black have their HQ in New York City. Seeing as no one has found it yet (without their memories being erased), Area 51 seems like a possibility.
Ghosts
While it may be difficult to contain and hide an actual ghost, it is completely possible that solid evidence of their existence exists and is being hidden from the public.
An explanation of the Mandela Effect
The Mandela Effect is a recent phenomenon that has come to light. In the effect, large numbers of people remember something that turns out not to be true. Picture the Monopoly Man. You probably imagine him with a monocle, right? While many people describe the character as wearing a monocle, he does not, and never has.
Mermaids
Similar to Bigfoot, mermaids have been “spotted” an immeasurable amount of times, making it hard to believe that there is not some variation of mermaids that exists.
The Real Avril Lavigne
Sometime in the mid-2000s, Avril Lavigne changed. When comparing pictures, fans noticed that while she looked similar, the details and structure of her face had completely changed. Avril denied having plastic surgery, and some fans have developed a theory that the real Avril Lavigne died or mysteriously disappeared and was replaced by a doppelgänger.
Time Travel
This is a personal favorite, and the one I believe in the most. Time travel can be created by simply using science. With the technology the world has now, it is hard to believe that time travel is not among it. It has been speculated, however, that time travel was created and deemed too dangerous by the scientist or the government and is now being kept secret.
When conspiracy theorists, UFO enthusiasts, and those simply interested in the unexplained (or maybe just the drama) storm Area 51, we will have answers to some of these mysteries.
