I had never understood how hard it was to find clothes until I spent majority of my teenage years being plus sized. There are some stores that sell plus size clothing but they make you look like a big trash bag. It’s as if, just because you’re plus sized, they want you to feel less than normal. So now I will share the stores I have found over the years to not only be cheap, but super cute as well.

I can’t quite remember when Forever 21 officially released their plus size clothing line; however, I do remember how excited I was. Like other smart companies, they realized that by producing plus sized clothing that was as cute as their smaller sizes, they could give their customers the same confidence, and in the end, make more money than stores that do not sell plus size clothing.

Online and in store, you can almost always find a good deal. I noticed throughout the summer they had this deal where certain dresses were 12 dollars, and most of the time they came in different colors so you had a variety to choose from. Overall I would have to say that Forever 21 definitely has the cheapest plus size clothing as well as the biggest variety in style. They also have cute cheap accessories (like their $7.90 sunnies) as well!

Next has to be H&M. The downside to them is that they tend to be a tad bit more expensive than Forever 21, but they extra money is worth it. I would say that H&M definitely has a store wide established style with more than the majority of their clothing. The clothing also is perfect if you are a person who loves to wear black year around (like myself).

I always noticed when shopping in the store that their clothing definitely seems as if it’s meant to attract an older audience, which is why a lot of H&M’s clothing is pretty perfect for the office look. You know, when you’re trying to keep a sense of style while also keeping it appropriate for the work environment.

Recently my mother introduced me Lane Bryant. The great thing about Lane Bryant is that they have really cute plus size intimates in addition to their clothing. I feel as if though their clothing is pricey, but because they sell quality clothing. The store is great for females of all ages, they sell clothing that ranges from playful all the way to professional as well. Lane Bryant also offers really great active wear as well shoes and accessories as well.

I would also recommend downloaded the apps of these websites. It is great for in-store shopping as well as shopping online. The apps have features where they will instantly alert you if there are things such as flash sales. And sometimes (if you’re lucky) using your app in store can get you closer to earning a discount.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
